The second small box expansion in the release schedule features the King in Yellow, an infamous play that unhinges the mind of anybody who views it. I’m sure most of us have seen a movie or ten that has a similar effect and for me, my title of this review caused me to detest every English Literature lesson at school for the whole term while we read the book and watch the 6 HOUR long movie……………ugh!

3 more expansions to go! Wow, remind me not to do another cliché month again! On this review we’re heading to the fictional town of Kingsport made famous in “The Terrible Old Man” by H.P. Lovecraft. A seaport with dense fog, a lighthouse, a strange house on the cliff edge, it all sounds like a quality setting for Arkham Horror. But it’s up against Dunwich and Innsmouth though, which are quality expansions so does Kingsport rank up there with them or should you float the box out to sea?

The second to last small box expansion to the Arkham series is one of a controversial nature. A dangerous cult has risen in Arkham set to speed up the arrival of the Ancient One. Investigators have the chance to infiltrate the cult while performing the main objective of stopping the Ancient one – problem is however, that they risk corruption by doing so. Now it’s been said on a lot of forums that this story isn’t worth the effort and it’s actually a detriment to the group to follow it. Interesting dilemma – let’s find out more!

LATT is the second to last expansion to be released for Arkham Horror and is one of the four “little box” expansions. The little box expansions introduce a few new rules and a variety of cards and tokens, but do not include a board unlike the “big box” expansions.

In case you don’t get the reference, basically it’s well known that the best way to survive in the Arkham Horror universe is to not read anything you find! That also includes demonic looking giant books covered in barbed wire with “Do Not Read” etched in blood on the title!

So here we are! The first stage of Arkham Horror Month! As stated before I am going to do a separate review of every part of Arkham Horror throughout the whole month. But of course I need to explain how the base game works by itself first as that’s going to be your starting point.
